New Suit

I dug deep into my photo stash for this picture of my oldest from 2011 and paired it with ScrapbookSteals MWM Amber # 7. The papers and buttons have also been hanging around for a few years as well.

Messy Eater

Who doesn't love the messy faces of a toddler self feeding, and what's messier then spaghetti! I've paired these wonderful pictures of my youngest with ScrapbookSteals MWM Amber # 6 sketch and About A Boy's April 1 Challenge : Use Chevrons, which just happens to be another love of mine. :)

 

I have also entered this into Memory Nest Whimsical Wednesday # 3.

 

ScrapbookSteals Guest Sketcher!

I don't know what I was more excited for, being asked to be a ScrapbookSteals guest sketcher or being able to work with Fancy Pants The Good Life. I remember when I first heard of ScrapbookSteals, before there even was a Mid Week Mojo. Every week there was always such great inspiration and that has helped turned scrapbooking into a major part of my life. So you can imagine how nerve wracking it was to come up with a sketch.

I loved working with The Good Life. The colors go so well together with the pop of red. Not the mention all the yummy goodies this collection comes with, the chipboard frames and layered stickers help give lots of dimension.


I can't wait to see everyone's take on the sketch, and THANK YOU ScrapbookSteals in helping me document my good life!

Little Moments

Can I tell you how much my boys love Chuck E Cheese? Too much for this already tired momma. But of course I had to snap picutres to document my youngest going for the first time. I paired Echo Parks For the Record 2 (LOVE LOVE LOVE) with ScrapbookSteals MidWeekMojo Sketch Amber # 4.

Feeding the Giraffe

Our local Zoo offers the chance to feed the Giraffes, which I feel is so awesome!! This is my oldest up close and personal feeding a Giraffe. I compined SWAT Basic Traning : Using Mists,  Scrapbook Steals Amber # 3 sketch and Scrap Your Stories Challenge # 2 : Animals

My Own Personal Super Hero

For my nephew's birthday party my sister threw a Suoer Hero themed party. All the children were a different Hero and my youngest was Captain America. Isn't he the cutest?
For this weeks Scrapbooksteals MWM Amber #2 the large circle reminded me of Captain America's sheild and knew it would be a perfect sketch for this photo.

1st Food

This weeks ScrapbookSteals Monday Craft Madness Challenge is to use Citrus color combo. As I was going thru my pictures to scrapbook, I came across these pictures of my youngest eating "real" food for the first time. So with these pictures, I used ScrapbookSteals Mid Week Mojo Sketch Challenge Amber # 1 and The Paper Girls Challenge Blog Challenge # 26 to use washi, to comlete this layout.
