My Lucky Charms

Hello there,
I have another challenge mash-up layout for you.  I combined ScrapbookSteals Midweek Mojo Daisy # 8 sketch with the Scrap Our Stash Challenge # 15 - Monochromatic Layout. I modified the sketch to accommodate 2 pictures and went all out on the green it keep it monochromatic.

The sketch:

For the Scrap Our Stash Challenge, we also had to use 5 different embellishments.  I used green washi, 3 3-D clover stickers, 2 green arrow brads, 4 green sequins,  and 3 green buttons.

And for Rochelle's challenge you need to pick 3 in a row from the following

I choose to go with the top row of options.

Puzzled

I was so excited to see that my local Michael's had Heidi Swapp Color Shine in white.  I came home and wanted to play with it right away. Lasting Memories challenge # 189 make your own background was a perfect fit for my new mist. I love how the white pops against the teal card stock.

* Update : This layout was a Friday Feature on Lasting Memories.

My Silly Eggs

I loved the simplicity of the Paper Girls Challenge blog challenge # 56 sketch. I was able to pair it up with these Easter Egg Hunt pictures from 2013 without making "Easter" the main theme.

Sunset @ The Beach

One of the many the perks of living close to the beach is that we can just get in the car and go.  Every once in a while we like to take a spontaneous trip to watch the sunset.  My boys absolutely love the beach and we love to watch them enjoy themselves.

For the Scrap Our Stash Challenge we had use something old, something new, something blue, and something fussy cut.

Something old : I used my I-Rock to adhere the white gems that I've had in my stash for a couple of years now.
Something new : I purchased some Heidi Swap Blue Ghost Letters a couple of months ago, that I finally was able to use.
Something blue : I used multiple blue items: paper, washi tape, and the @ sign in my title.
Something fussy cut : I cut out a large cloud shape in the yellow chevron paper using my Kiwi Lane Designs template.

Knightly Cake - ScrapbookSteals Daisy # 4

After a long hiatus, I am slowly getting back into scrapbooking.
Looking thru my photos, I decided to try and get some of my oldest sons birthday party from a couple of years ago. I don't know about you, but I have a hard time scrapping birthdays and holidays.
So here is my take on ScrapbookSteals Daisy #4 MidweekMojo Sketch. I did end up changing some paper placements to accommodate my 2nd picture.
